Sweet Bella has been such a gift to our group over the past two years, faithfully volunteering each month and earning service hours. She always arrives with a smile, ready to love on our kids and jump in wherever she’s needed. Her kindness, consistency, and heart for serving others have meant so much to all of us.

As she prepares to graduate from high school, we are cheering her on and wishing her nothing but the very best in this next chapter. Congratulations, Bella! 🎓💛

🐣 Foster Genesee: Egg My House Volunteers Needed! 🌷

It’s back—one of our FAVORITE traditions! 💛
We’re looking for volunteers to help “egg” homes for our foster families between March 28th – April 5th. This is such a fun, meaningful way to bring joy right to their front door!

How it works:
You’ll be assigned a home, fill eggs with candy/trinkets, and secretly hide them in the yard. Once you’re done, we’ll notify the family so the kiddos can wake up to a magical egg hunt!

Volunteers also provide:
A small Easter basket for each child or a family basket—whatever works best for you!

Current Needs by Area:
Swartz Creek – 1 home
Flint- 1 home

Important: Home details will be provided after you sign up.
Whether you take one house or a few, you’re making Easter extra special for these kids.

It’s about that time!! 🐣🥚🐰

Collect your eggs and fill your baskets- details coming soon!!

We had 100 people on campus between kids, volunteers, and parents!

The kids enjoyed a fun spring craft while our volunteers were treated to a REAL, homemade meal lovingly prepared by Ashley Smith. We are so incredibly grateful for her generosity and heart.

Our parents also received an amazing training from Tami Lysher with Move Into Calm, diving into how our bodies in motion help regulate emotions. It was practical, encouraging, and so needed.

It was just one of those nights that reminds you how special this community truly is. Whether you’re a foster or adoptive parent looking for support, or a volunteer who supports financially or with your time: this is what it’s all about. 💛

So thankful to be part of Foster Genesee.

Foster Genesee is looking for a photographer willing to donate their time to capture a beautiful adoption finalization at the courthouse for one of our families.
Adoption day is a forever moment, and having it documented would mean so much. If you’re interested or know someone who might be, please message us!
