Look at this BEAUTIFUL umbilical cord I got to work with a few weeks ago! You can tell that this Momma practiced delayed cord clamping, because of how white the cord is. 😍

I'm gonna be honest with you, this was a small placenta and I was worried that this Momma wasn't going to have very many pills from it. In the end she was able to have enough for almost 80 days!

It was such a testament to how the tree of life can nourish and support our bodies as we nourish and support our children. 🤰

For anyone who has had a clogged milk duct or mastitis you know how true this is! 😂😭

To avoid this make sure you are effectively emptying your breasts routinely. For some moms that means every 2-3 hours, for some that means every 5-6 hours, for some it's two or three times a day.

If you are continuously getting mastitis you may be prone to yeast infections. To find out for sure talk to your midwife or OB.
