The Rumprollers is the brain child of multi-genre percussionist Mark Holen. Mark Holen was born in Flint, Michigan and also lived in Detroit and Chicago.
In 1975 he relocated to New York City. During this time he also had the opportunity to live in Madrid, Spain and Lisbon, Portugal for a period of three years. Since his graduation from Central Michigan University, he has worked as a professional musician, composer arranger, and teacher.
