A strong start to our Thursday, with our founder, Jaime, guest speaking at an event for Helping Hands For Heroes.

Helping Hands for Heroes, powered by TrueVet Solutions, is a transformative initiative aimed at ending veteran homelessness in Jacksonville, Florida.

Jaime recently joined the Board of Directors and is excited to support this outstanding organization in advancing its mission.

Today we celebrate 133 years of Chief Petty Officer pride, heritage, legacy, and honor.

On April 1, 1893, the rank of Chief Petty Officer was officially established, and with it came a standard of leadership, accountability, tradition, and deckplate excellence that still defines the United States Navy today.

To become a Chief is to join something far greater than yourself. It is to carry the weight of those who came before, to uphold the customs and standards of the Mess, and to serve as a steady anchor for Sailors, commands, and our Navy. Whether on active duty or long retired, once you have worn the fouled anchor, you are forever part of a proud and time-honored legacy.

But let’s be honest, being a Chief is also about the bond, the laughter, the sea stories, the hard-earned respect, the relentless pride, and the unshakable connection shared among Brothers and Sisters in the world’s greatest fraternity. Chiefs know how to lead, how to serve, and how to have a little fun along the way. It's no wonder we were born on the Crest of a Wave on a Saturday! 🎉💃🕺✨

Today we honor every Chief Petty Officer past and present who has carried the anchor with dignity, courage, and commitment.
