OSLC Youth

Tomorrow Sunday, September 18, is our LCMS Youth Sunday night! we will come together for a taste of this summer's LCMS National Youth Gathering. Everyone is invited to join us at the church from 6:00 to *8:00 for an awesome Bible study, pizza, games, gathering-themed prizes, and an online national youth event. We will even link up with a sister youth group and make some new friends from somewhere in the US. It's going to be an epic night!

As always, bring your friends!

Snow tubing!!!

Pizza and a Movie Night! On, January 25, meet from 6:30 pm to 9:00 pm at the church. We will turn the church social hall into our very own indoor-outdoor theater and watch a movie about our favorite giant green ogre. After the movie, Andrew Nachamkin will lead us in a related devotion. Bring $5 for pizza and a lawn/outdoor chair from home. We will have extra chairs on hand, so if you don't have one, no worries ... you won't have to sit on the floor. Bring a friend!

We were going to give Confirmation class a taste of youth group tonight, but we're postponing that to the next class, November 26.

Happy Reformation Day!

Youth group members and their parents may have already received an email from Matt Eyler that he is stepping down as youth director.

We want you to know that OSLC remains fully committed to youth ministry. We are grateful for all that Matt has been able to accomplish during his tenure at OSLC and are sad to see him go. While this is a loss that will be grieved, we also want to move forward and continue to provide activities for the youth of our congregation.

To that end, we will be having an informational and planning meeting in place of next week's planned youth event. All youth (junior and senior high) and their parents are invited to attend on Saturday, October 19, at 6:30 p.m.; pizza will be provided.
