🐎🎃 KNOW BEFORE YOU GO: HEADLESS HORSEMAN
Heading into Sleepy Hollow? A little planning goes a long way! Festival hours are 5–10 p.m., with entry closing at 9 p.m. If you have a hayride reservation, plan to arrive at least 45 minutes before your scheduled time to park, enter the festival and make your way to the hayride.
Your QR code is your key to the night, so have it ready when you arrive! Most festival activities are included with admission, including carnival rides, the Corn Maze, live entertainment, Perilous Plunge and more. Hayrides, food and drinks, 1859 Balloon Voyage and retail purchases are additional.

🍂 New season, new hours at Conner Prairie!
Starting today, our fall hours are officially here. Join us Tuesday–Sunday from 10 a.m.–4 p.m. through November 1. Explore the Museum Experience Center, wander our outdoor grounds, take on the Corn Maze and soak in everything this season brings. Because there’s nothing quite like fall on the Prairie. 🍁

Before our Collections Vault Viewing Window changes for October, we’re taking a closer look at one of this month’s shelf items: a piece of a previous 1859 Balloon Voyage envelope.
Ryan Shank, Director, Historical and Digital Resources, shares why pieces of our past balloons are preserved in the collection—and takes us back to John Wise’s 1859 flight aboard the Jupiter, an ambitious attempt to carry mail by balloon that helped inspire the name Jupiter Flights today.
Take one last look at September’s shelf and discover the history behind the balloon. 🎈

🌽 The Corn Maze opens TOMORROW!
Just over a month ago, historic flooding covered this field. But the water receded, the corn kept growing—and now it’s time to get lost. 🙌🍂
Created by Precision Mazes and presented by Corteva Agriscience the Corn Maze opens September 26 with a Short Maze and Long Maze, both included with daily admission.
And during Headless Horseman, the maze fun continues—with the Long Maze open until dusk and the Haunted Trail waiting after dark. 👀 Fall is here. Who’s ready to hit the maze? 🌽
🍺 IT’S BACK… and there’s a new brew joining the Headless Horseman lineup! 🎃🐎
