Here's the August 2026 snapshot from MIBOR's latest market report (single-family homes):

🏷️ Median sale price: $327,250, up 2.6% from last year
🏡 Homes for sale: 6,941, up 14%
📉 Closed sales: down 5.2%
⏳ Median days on market: 23, vs. 17 a year ago

What it means: prices are still a little higher than last year, but buyers have more choices and a bit more time to decide. Sellers, pricing and presentation matter more than they did a year ago.

Have you driven I-65 near Worthsville Road in Greenwood lately? That stretch just had a very big week. 🚧

🗳️ Sept. 21: Greenwood's city council voted 7–2 to rezone land there for Indiana's first Buc-ee's. Plans call for about 74,000 sq ft, 120 fuel pumps and roughly $13–14M in road work, including a new roundabout at Worthsville & Collins Rd. It still needs more city approvals, and some neighbors and school officials have raised traffic concerns.

🏭 Sept. 24: Amazon announced a $100M manufacturing plant at 1175 Collins Rd., with 300 jobs by the end of 2028 and average pay near $100K.

Two big announcements, one interchange, three days apart.

Fishers is two days away from its very first Meijer inside city limits, and it's not the Meijer you're picturing. 🛒

The new Meijer Grocery at 15700 Southeastern Parkway opens this Wednesday, Sept. 30 at 6 a.m.

📍 About 75,000 sq ft, roughly half the size of a typical Meijer supercenter
🥖 Bakery, meat & seafood, deli, produce, pharmacy and floral
⛽ The Meijer Express gas station next door is already open
🎉 Opening week is expected to bring giveaways and discounts

It's only the second Meijer Grocery in Indiana, and it's built for quick in-and-out trips.

Bittersweet one this week — the Fishers Farmers Market wraps its season today. Here's how to spend the weekend around it.

🥕 Fishers Farmers Market — Final Day of the season, 8am–noon at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. Over 100 vendors, live music, and a Thrift-A-Thon to send it off right.
✨ Glow in the Park — 6–9pm, also at the Nickel Plate District Amphitheater. Wear white, bring the energy — neon splash zones, foam cannons, inflatable water slides, live DJs. Tickets required.
🚗 Cars & Coffee — 9–11am at Graham Rahal Performance in Zionsville. Rare cars, classics, motorcycles, and actual coffee.
💃 Zionsville Street Dance — 5–10pm on Main Street, rescheduled and back on for this Saturday. Live music, downtown closed off, the whole block turns into a party.
