These guys have a very recognizable sound coming in and my camera is always packed away upstairs… not this summer. I’m keeping it close by so I’m ready.

It was a 2 birds, 1 stone kinda morning. Lunar eclipse photos then off to vote once the polls opened!!

Moon’s not quite full yet but I’m ready for Tuesday’s lunar eclipse. Now it’s up to Mother Nature and clear skies.

View from the Highline Trail

The third day of hiking was by far the most rewarding. The main trail to see one of the 25 remaining glaciers was closed so the only way for 4 novice hikers to see one was to hike 14+ miles. I’ll be honest, I didn’t think we’d get it done but all 4 of us did and I couldn’t be more proud. The middle section up the side of a mountain was only 8-tenths of a mile but took an hour to climb the steep slope Called the Garden Wall. The views from the top were amazing!

Hike number 2 on day one was cut short to just the overlook of Hidden Lake. The full trail down to the lake was closed due to high bear activity. While we didn’t see any this short hike did offer the most wildlife we saw the entire week.

Last week at Glacier National Park was amazing! The first hike was to Avalanche Lake via the Trail of the Cedars and it did not disappoint.

Glacier National Park is an amazing place and there will be many more pics to come!!
