Fishers police arrested two suspects (One adult/One juvenile) in connection with an armed robbery/carjacking.

On Tuesday May 26th, Fishers Police arrested 18-year-old Khalil Glover and a 17-year-old juvenile, both of Indianapolis. The suspects were each charged with four felonies and the juvenile with one additional misdemeanor.

On Monday May 25th at approximately 10:39 pm, FPD Officers responded to the report of an armed carjacking at the IHOP 9750 North by Northeast Blvd, just north of E 96th Street. One of the accused pointed a gun, with an extended magazine, at the victim in the parking lot and demanded the keys to the victim’s car. Both suspects entered and stole the victim’s car and sped away. The victim was unharmed during the incident.

Our officers utilized the FLOCK camera system and knew the vehicle had been driven toward Binford Blvd in Indianapolis. Information was provided to surrounding law enforcement agencies and IMPD was able to locate the victim’s vehicle in an Indianapolis apartment complex. The vehicle was unoccupied when it was found and additional evidence belonging to the victim was also located.

Surveillance video was collected near the robbery scene by detectives, which provided suspect clothing descriptions. With evidence collected, FPD detectives assigned to the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force, along with FBI Special Agents located two suspects in the same apartment complex wearing clothing items matching the clothes worn during the carjacking. After a search warrant was obtained by FPD detectives, IMPD SWAT and IMPD K9 assisted in serving the search warrant and arresting Khalil Glover and the Juvenile. Additional items of evidence related to the robbery/carjacking belonging to the victim were located along with the firearm used in the robbery.
Detectives interviewed Glover who confessed to the robbery/carjacking and admitted that the juvenile male was also with him during the robbery.

Glover and the Juvenile male were transported and booked into the Hamilton County Jail.

“When someone in our city, whether a resident or someone visiting is victimized, we take it personal. We will use all our resources, all our people, and all our partnerships to find criminals and hold them accountable,” Chief Ed Gebhart said, “Technology helps us, but it’s just a tool for good old fashioned police work to take place. I’m extremely proud of our team and our ability to work with our law enforcement partners.”

This morning, Southeastern Schools hosted its annual SRO Breakfast to thank our School Resource Officers for their dedication to keeping our schools safe.

This year also marked the first time an officer was recognized as HSE’s SRO of the Year. We are proud to congratulate Officer Clausius on receiving this honor.

Several SROs were nominated, but Officer Clausius stood out to the committee for his ability to connect with students, his willingness to go the extra mile in the classroom, and the positive attitude he brings to work every day.

I started my day at the Prayer Breakfast supporting our County Chaplains. I was honored to attend at the invitation of my friend, Alaina Shonkwiler.

Our chaplains play a vital role in both our department and our community. They provide support, guidance, and compassion during some of the most difficult moments our officers and residents face.

Quite simply, we could not do this job without them.

Thank you to all of our chaplains for the work you do each and every day.

Fishers Police Arrest Man Accused of Scamming Resident Out of More Than $200,000

Fishers Police Detectives arrested 21-year-old Anmolpreet Singh of Levittown, New York on May 4, 2026, on two felony charges: Conspiracy to Commit Theft and Conspiracy to Commit Fraud.

On April 30, a Fishers resident contacted police after believing they had become the victim of an elaborate fraud scheme. The victim told investigators the suspects claimed to be affiliated with federal agencies and convinced them to complete multiple financial transactions, including cryptocurrency deposits and wire transfers totaling more than $200,000.

As part of the scheme, the suspects allegedly sent the victim a fraudulent arrest warrant and instructed them to make an in-person cash transaction of $50,000.
Believing the victim would continue to be targeted, Fishers Police Detectives, in conjunction with our federal partners, coordinated an operation to intercept the suspects during the planned pickup.

On Monday, May 4, the suspects contacted the victim and stated they would arrive in Fishers around 4:30 p.m. Detectives utilized Flock camera technology to identify the suspect vehicle as it entered the area. Once the vehicle arrived in the neighborhood, Fishers Police officers used drones to monitor the suspect’s movements throughout the area.

Investigators observed the suspect driving in a manner consistent with counter-surveillance tactics and attempted to arrange a hand-to-hand exchange with the victim, a commonly used tactic to avoid law enforcement detection.
Detectives developed probable cause to believe he had knowledge of and was participating in the fraud scheme.

A traffic stop was conducted, and Singh was taken into custody without incident. During the investigation, detectives determined Singh was involved in communication with the victim.

“This case highlights the lengths scammers will go to manipulate and financially exploit victims,” said Chief Gebhart, “We want our community to know that Fishers Police will use every tool available to identify, investigate, and pursue criminals who target our residents.”

Fishers Police encourage residents to remain cautious of unsolicited calls, emails, or messages claiming to be from government agencies or law enforcement, especially when demands for money, cryptocurrency, wire transfers, or secrecy are involved.
