Running Fox Ranch will have one stall open for halter breaking/ground work!
This program focuses on all the fundamentals to prepare your partner for a life time of fun!
We teach your horse how to regulate their emotions without over desensitizing or making them “numb”. I have worked with local rescues for the last 6 years halter breaking and prepping horses for their next chapter.
We take into consideration age, limitations/Injurys, past trauma, past training methods, etc.
Includes but not limited to…
- being caught in a large field and a small paddock.
- Learn to come when called (recall)
- how to lead
-stand tied
-pick up all 4 feet/stand to be trimmed
- stand to be bathed
-load in a trailer/ back out of a trailer
- roundpen/lounge
-basic hobble training
- standing to be saddled
-stand to be bridled
- basic in hand trail courses
- desensitization (tarps, beach balls, flag, lounge whips). Gradually increase as confidence goes up.
And so much more! We accept mares and geldings of any age! We also accept rehab cases and offer a Refeeding program to help those who need weight.
Prices start at $850 a month.
*weanlings and minis/13hh and under start at $650 a month*

Running Fox Ranch has 4 training stalls opening up March 1st! We specialize in behavioral issues, restarts, and rehabilitation! I have 15 years of experience from showing hunter jumper, gymkhanas, western pleasure, reining, roping, etc. We are a small family owned and run facility that is drama free and focused 100% on each horse individually. Our stalls are cleaned daily with fresh water, grass hay, alfalfa, and grain (when needed). They get daily turn out as well. I even provide a refeed program for those horses thatt just need more weight and muscle. I focus on building the trust and confidence in each horse so they are ready for their next job. We can work with minis up to draft horses and anything in between. Feel free to PM me with any questions! We are located in Firestone Colorado!
