SOMETHING SPECIAL IS BREWING IN PINOLE… ♥️☕

Some announcements are more personal than others.

We’re incredibly excited to share that EastBay Coffee in Pinole, California will soon be serving CharlieJoe Chai!

What makes this so special is that East Bay Coffee is owned by our dear friends and longtime mentors, Bill & Lisa Ancira, along with their two amazing sons, Trent & Billy, who help make this family business what it is today. Their friendship, encouragement, and example have been a tremendous blessing to our family over the years.

We have so many incredible memories with Bill & Lisa from back in the day—traveling the world together, doing music, sharing adventures, and making memories we still treasure today. And now, all these years later, seeing our two family businesses come together makes this one of those beautiful full-circle moments we’ll never forget. ♥️

If all goes according to plan, CharlieJoe Chai will officially launch at East Bay Coffee this weekend! We can’t wait for their customers to experience a handcrafted cup of chai.

And while you’re there, DO NOT leave without trying one of their breakfast sandwiches! 🤩 We had one on our recent visit and, no exaggeration, it was one of the best breakfast sandwiches we’ve ever had in our lives! Pair that with a CharlieJoe Chai and… oh my. 🙌🏼☕️

Today, through our partnership with Life for the Innocent, CharlieJoe Chai had the incredible honor of helping rescue our 165th child from the horrors of human trafficking in South Asia. This rescue is dedicated to the loving memory of Justin Schell.

Justin’s life was a beautiful testimony of courage, faith, and love. Though a neurological disease gradually took away so much, it never diminished his joyful spirit, his expressive smile, or his deep love for Jesus. Unable to speak with his lips, Justin found his voice through heartfelt poetry and songs that continue to inspire and encourage others.

Justin’s life reminds us that our greatest legacy is not found in what we are able to do, but in the love we leave behind.

Justin, we miss you deeply, but we rejoice knowing you are now completely whole and healeLife for the InnocentJesus. May this rescued child forever stand as a living testimony to your life—a reminder that your compassion, faith, and love continue to bring hope to this world.
