Every now an again the Lord gives me a "word" to ponder on... Lately it seems to be the word "decisions". Did you know the average person make 35,000 decisions a day!! (That includes both conscious & nonconscious decisions)
To narrow it down a lot, the conscious ones..(intentional & deliberate) average 50 to 200 decisions a day!!! Ones that require mental energy such as thinking, planning, responding..etc...
As a "Believer".. God wants us to make our daily decisions through the balance of Prayer, Wisdom from His Word, and the leading of the Holy Spirit!
Our everyday choices need to align up with God's will no matter what! It all comes down to seeking & putting God "1st" in our lives...
(This is work..lol) But if you want that Peace that surpasses all understanding, you gotta start thinking Seriously about those "daily" decisions....
I am in a season right now where the decisions
seem to be piling up as I try to take some "time" and more thought into doing what I believe to be God's perfect & pleasing will for me...
Sometimes it is best not to do anything if your just not sure! I could use some prayers right now for God's Wisdom..... Thank You Lord that you Know my heart..❤️

Hello Everyone!
I have been going through yet another period of "loss" in the past few months!! It has been more gradual, unlike the sudden loss of my recent dear friend Nancy. This "season" has been coming for awhile, and has been quite difficult, as my Precious "mentor" of about 32-years who is much older than me, has SLOWLY been declining... Mainly in her ability to communicate in a cognitive manner. I have "thought" she had passed away several times from her rare lack of communication, only to find out weeks later she was still alive and unaware of the gap in our communication... It breaks my heart, but I think its my own "selfishness"...
She does not sound like shes suffering in a physical sense, more than anything she wants to be back in her own home, but no longer can be.
I miss our "daily".. Long and deep conversations about our Heavenly Father! She was such a Strong and "Powerful Prayer Warrior"!!! A woman full of Wisdom and closely connected to the Holy Spirit.
She in fact has been a "Prophectic Woman", which is pretty Deep when it comes to understanding, for your average modern-day christian..or believer!
I remember many times during our conversations when I was asking for advice, and she would suddenly realize that her reply to me was strictly "from Melba" and Not from God!! She would quickly apoligize and say " I'm sorry but that was from my flesh and not from the Lord, so I take that back!!! Let me Pray again and see what the Lord has to say about that".... It would often be several minutes before she was able to translate to me what she felt I needed to hear from the Holy Spirit!
Even across the many miles from Oklahoma where she lives...to Idaho... I could literally "feel" the presence of God in the middle of our conversation!! Every word out of her mouth was taken from the Scriptures and was to build-up and exhort me...to help me to Seek God's "will" in all circumstances, and to lay everything out before Him... To TRUST God 100% to guide me and to help me to make the right decisions based on what Jesus would want for my life!
The most Beautiful thing about our relationship is it is all based on the belief we both share in Jesus Christ and we will one day be together again in "eternity" under the Greatest and most Joyous circumstances ever imagineable...❤️
Meanwhile, I need to keep on THANKING God for putting her in my life, and keep on praying that she won't have to suffer much longer before she gets to actually see & be with Jesus....
As I continue to walk out each day that remains for myself, I will continue to keep her close to my heart and try to make the right decisions based on what God's "word" says and continue to allow God to "use-me" for his glory..whenever possible...
