Dispatch center is commanded for the Festus Police Department, Festus Fire Department, and Joachim Plattin Township Amublance District. he Festus Police Department Communications Center is staffed, 7 days per week, 24 hours per day, by 7 civilian dispatchers, 2 civilian supervisors, under the command of a Sergeant.

[08/18/12]   We will soon be the ONLY Dispatch on a VHF frequency, any department/unit dispatched my Jefferson County 911 is switching to a digital frequency know as P25, this change will present in the end of 2012 or beginning of 2013. This means Joachim Plattin Township Ambulance District (JPTAD), Festus Fire Department (FFD), Festus Police Department (FPD) will all go off the standard VHF on there own.
