Playing Blokus with some new and familiar faces at iwerk's first game night in over a year (or two). Excited to continue our beloved tradition and spend time with each other in the office again. Great to be back!

We’ve added an awesome new Software Development Project Manager to our PMO. His name is Aaron Scheetz and he’s no stranger to the scrum. Being an accomplished rugby player turned project manager, we’d expect nothing less. Furthermore, his early professional experience working on Amazon related projects helped shape his great time management, scheduling and forecasting skills.
Just prior to joining iwerk, Aaron was coordinating projects at a robotic automation company. This is where he really honed his client service skills. Aaron is a “people-person,” someone who enjoys discovering common interests with new acquaintances and brainstorming with others when tackling challenges.
Currently, outside of work, you’ll find Aaron busy with a myriad of hobbies that include climbing, cooking, jamming (guitar and drums), gardening, brewing, gaming, biking, and boarding, to name well more than a few.

We can’t add developers fast enough. And in good part because, we admit it, we’re super selective. Point and case: After a careful search process, Tim Jossund has joined iwerk as the latest addition to our team of exceptionally talented software developers.
Tim has a super interesting and diverse background having graduated with a bachelor’s degree in religious studies, freelanced for over a decade as a front-end developer, and worked as a mental health practitioner. Tim’s a super caring and patient person, who enjoys helping people and solving problems, in the world or on the Web.
To know Tim is to know he loves technology and a challenge. He’s in good company at iwerk and is putting his recent Nucamp Coding certification experience to work. He’s also shared that he is already enjoying learning some additional new and different approaches to development from his co-werkers.
Tim’s off to great start, and a great immediate solve for our Clients rapidly growing frontend development demand.

We’re proud to welcome Aaron Gregory, Network Analyst, to our growing Technology Services team. It’s not every day that we get to add a degreed Criminal Justice associate to our team of talent. Cyber troublemakers beware!
Aaron is a fellow Michigan resident, and attended college in the Great Lakes state, securing degrees at both Schoolcraft and Henry Ford Colleges. He was drawn to the tech field for its fast pace of change – a proven great choice for a such a fast-learner.
In his free time, he enjoys traveling, dinners out with his wife, and strolling outside with his two-year old German Shepherd, and Pitbull older sibling.
Among Aaron’s first impressions of iwerk are how welcoming the people have been, and how the culture is refreshingly relaxed, yet professional.

Meet Daniel Olivas, a recent addition to our DFW Tech Services team. Daniel is the perfect add to our Midwestern values meets Texas hospitality brand of IT support. As a Network Analyst, we’re excited to be putting his technical and problem-solving skills to work.
Prior to joining iwerk, Daniel served as the lead Information Technology Specialist at The Gladney Center for Adoption in Fort Worth, Texas. If he can solve a client’s problem, that’s good; if he can make their day better, that’s great. We love his attitude. In addition to possessing a head for details, Daniel takes great pride in delivering an exceptionally high level of customer service.
At home, Daniel’s world revolves around family, with two children (ages 11 and 12) keeping him extremely busy. But not too busy for a little chillin’, grillin’ and fishin’. And while he may be a tough guy on the Jiu-Jitsu mat, he’s also a bit of renaissance man, enjoying reading, research, writing, and strumming the guitar.

Headless is a buzzword you might have heard around the innovator and technology water coolers. But what does it mean, especially in the context of content management software or systems? It might sound like something out of a modern-day Ichabod Crane retelling. But the concept of a headless CMS is easier to wrap your head around than you might think. (Pun intended). Help us welcome Ali Sbeiti! A native Texan, Ali cut his teeth developing software for a small business while securing his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Texas. He's a full-stack guy, who enjoys the challenge associated with always having to learn new things. Outside, you might find him fishing or grilling with friends. Indoor hobbies include 3D modeling/printing and amateur electronics design. In just a short time, Ali's already been struck by how supportive iwerk's entire development team can be, and in no time at all he's thoroughly enjoying working on multiple projects and picking up new frameworks and skills.

The hits kept coming! Nicholas Bueltel represents our first software developer hire in Dallas and our commitment to combing the country for the best available talent we can find across the nation. Nick’s forte is front-end development, but like most iwerker’s, his experience set reaches wide and deep. If he’s not coding, you might just catch him illustrating or playing online games with his friends. We can’t wait to see Nick’s ingenuity unleased.

We couldn’t be more proud of our Development team. They are the bedrock of our resurging software business. They make promises possible. Kristen Harrell is among the recent additions to our killer dev team. It was after attending coding school that Kristen realized her passion for organizing data and presenting it to a client in a way that benefits their business. When she's not too busy hanging with her daughter or preparing for her upcoming house move, Kristen enjoys experimenting in the kitchen with new recipes and tastes.

Here we grow again! In Q2 alone, we hired four new people, across the company and the nation. One of those hires is a welcome addition to our Account Management team. Meet Cathy! In only a few short weeks, peers and clients have come to appreciate her client-first approach, and the empathy, ingenuity, and positivity that Cathy brings. In her off-time, she pours her heart into fostering dogs and volunteering with local dog rescues.
At work, Cathy will focus on supporting local IT clients while sharing some project management responsibilities with the Software Development team.

Some leaders place a premium on loyalty, but we know there’s something that comes before that...persistently and consistently building trust. If you’re a team member, a collaborative partner, or a client, you know what we’re talking about. Trust is a cornerstone of iwerk’s values, and we are committed to building it with everyone around us.
Why? Because uncommonly strong relationships are our thing. That means keeping our word, delivering solid work, and showing up for all of the highs and the lows along the way.
Trust is earned and we commit to that goal every single day.
