Petit Fleur Events has done it again!! We've received the 'Best of Weddings' Award for 2024! So grateful for my team. We are excited for our 2024 season! Its already off to an epic start!

Clients often ask me, how we can transform the venue into a warm, romantic, and intimate atmosphere for their reception? My response is always with the design details! Well appointed place settings, lush floral arrangements, and candles! LOTS AND LOTS of candles! Candles are a guaranteed way to add some luxe ambiance!

I have gotten so many emails in the last couple days from new clients and established ones excited to start chatting about their weddings, their plans, their hopes and their event design. For the first time in so very long, it feels like we're getting there...back to where I get to stand in the background and watch these faces, holding their flowers, with their plans and their hopes flashing in their smiles once again. Here's to 2021 and the beginning of a new start for all of us...

Gahhh... This beauty showed up in my Time Hop this morning! I absolutely loved this saturated and dramatic color palette . Red is one of favorites for the historic ballroom. This is a captain's table that screams romance and wants to be heard!

This beauty went out yesterday along with some other goodies for a beautiful wedding ceremony. I can't wait for their reception!!

I've been pretty quiet on social media during this COVID crap because honestly, I am not sure what to say. Do I post something positive and bubbly and risk making my clients who have broken hearts from the loss of their events feel as if I am not affected by their loss? Do I risk making our staff, who I love like family feel like I am not suffering with them? I mean after spending the last month listening to the tears and sadness of the 22 clients (and counting) who's weddings have had to postpone this Spring, I'd be lying if I said it hasn't taken an enormous emotional toll on me. Do I post a Q&A segment or a tutorial and try to encourage my clients and staff to hang in there and give the vibes that life goes on? It's a mind trip to be stuck somewhere in the middle of disappointment, gratitude, mourning and hope. So I decided today was the day that I would post. After listening to my bride who came to pick up her bouquet this morning as she will now marry her fiance in their home instead of the beautiful wedding that was planned for this evening, I realized it's okay to feel what I feel. My clients KNOW I love them...they see me as a human and I do not have to tow a line. It's okay for me to say I am hurting for them yet still try to do my part to keep people hopeful. We have been in business for 17 years and I've seen and been through A LOT. So in honor of Leah, my beautiful bride who will still get married today and in honor of my beautiful bride Caitlin who chose to wait yet mourns and rejoices all at once, I am posting this pretty little bouquet as a symbol...a symbol that I'm still here and I stand with you. Petit Fleur WILL be here when this is over and I'm ready....we're ready. We can't wait. We are DETROITstrong

Wow...absolutley loved how this design turned out! Did I also mention how much I loved working with Rebecca and Ben?
