In the lab these days I have two main perfumery projects: the new rose-centered cologne and a lavender focused perfume.
I haven't lost sight of doing a citrus one using the cedrat that has been tincturing.
It smells pretty darned good in here -

My current still (pictured) is 10L and it has done some beautiful things. Most of the last three days has been spent running 15 hours of distilling time with home-grown organic lavender.
And now I have a gallon of hydrosol and about 20ml of amazingly fresh lavender angustifolia essential oil. Honestly, it doesn't compare to commercial production. So beautiful.
About 6ml is just the flowering tops and much more reminiscent of an absolute than the medical sharpness of typical essential oils.

Fragrance design with a focus on scenting spaces -
Our perfume and skincare formulas are full of chemical compositions - made by Mother Nature. "Chemical Free" isn't a thing. You could even argue that the chemicals are kind of the point.
You can't have cosmetics or perfumes without them. You can have is effective skincare (and fine fragrances) that align with your values.

Blue Jay and Florida Water are now available in 10 mL atomizers. Proper perfume glass and a sealed mister that protects your purchase from leaks and evaporation. Safer to carry around - and take on your travels.
Transparency is important to me.
I want to produce the most beautiful fragrance with the knowledge I have and give YOU the most wonderful aromatic experience in the most esthetic way I can.
So there is no mystery about what goes into our fragrances - or how they are made.
Crafting an enticing and intriguing scent experience is my goal; using methods that overlap with winemaking, herbalism and aromatherapy.
