In 1937, gas was 20¢ a gallon.

A mechanic's labor rate was $1.50 an hour.

A set of tires could be purchased for less than $20.

Olve Willand's first month in business brought in just $26.

Vehicles have gone from simple mechanical machines to computers on wheels. Ferndale has grown from a small farming community into one of the fastest-growing cities in Washington. Prices have certainly changed too!
