First 2 days - Everson to Missoula
Just get there! We’ve driven these roads many times, so not much sightseeing. We went through the Highway 2 burn area that had closed the highway in August. Through the forest, over the mountains and into the desert and apple orchards. Stopped at The Igloo in Wenatchee for gizzards, steak and beer. Stayed at the Quincy Inn, nothing fancy, but clean and comfy! Continued on to Missoula, by way of Wallace, Idaho (the Center of the Universe) and Lincoln's 50,000 Silver Dollar Bar in Haugan, Montana. Great AirBNB at the Historic Wilma in downtown Missoula. Highly recommend Counterflux Brewing for dinner and beer followed by a stop at Mary’s Mountain Cookies. Found a wonderful mural on the way out of town, painted by .art .

Where to next, Sting?

Quick trip across the county to take Delilah to the car show at Silver Reef Casino. Glad the rain held off.

Thankful for the rain, even if the cargo got a bit wet. It’s too dry here in the PNW, and there are lots of fires and smoke. Excellent dinner at McMenamins East Vancouver last night. Watched the Mariners win AGAIN. Amazing breakfast at The Oasis restaurant in Castle Rock this morning, and an uneventful drive home.

Rambo, our 2000 Dodge Ram wants to know whether he’s “old” or “classic”? Off to Terrebonne, OR, to pick up some truck parts. Always an adventure, and when in the PNW, gotta get those McMenamins Passport Stamps!! Cove Bar, Kennedy School, Barley Mill Pub for Scooby Snacks (don’t judge), the Bagdad Theater for Barbie (don’t judge), then the WONDERFUL Back Stage Bar - 13 Stamps in one day!!
