It was all fun and games this year for Teacher Appreciation Week!
All week, teachers and staff played real life versions of Lucky Duck, Clue, and Guess Who - and won prizes!
They enjoyed a Yeti in my Spaghetti lunch from Pop's for Italian and a Candyland candy bar.
They dressed up for a secret spirit wear week - did your student notice the themes?
We appreciate the hard work, dedication and care of Ferndale teachers and staff!

In April, members of the FE PTA Board attended Michigan PTA Advocacy Day!
It was Kirsten Suer and Jennifer Baker's first time meeting with reprentatives and both Representative Helena Scott and the staff of Mallory McMorrow's office were generous with their time and helping us navigate these conversations.
We spoke about the importance of education finance reform, this year's state budget, and support for Kids over Clicks.

Can't wait to meet the newest Ferndale Eagles at this Thursday's Round-Up event!
The FEPTA helps fill the kindergarten readiness bags - so many different materials to help incoming students and their families explore reading and math skills through hands-on learning!
Stop by the FE PTA information table to learn about volunteer opportunities, membership, advocacy efforts, and more!
Current school families and members of the PTA Board will be there to answer your questions.
And we'll be selling Ferndale school lawn signs so you can show your Eagle pride ($10, cash or charge), we'll have some fun giveaways and a drawing for a gift certificate to the fall Scholastic Book Fair.
See you Thursday!

🚌Happy Bus Driver Appreciation Day!🚌
To the drivers who start their day before sunrise and end it with a smile; you are the first and last friendly face our kids see every school day.
Thank you for keeping our littlest learners safe, on time, and ready to shine. Your patience, care, and dedication make our school community stronger every day.
The PTA dropped off some goodie bags to keep them FUELed through the day with snacks and drinks!
PTA is foremost an advocacy organization - part of our mission is "empowering families and communities to advocate for all children."
You can use your voice to ensure that school is a safe environment for all, including students in immigrant and mixed-status families.
