Tonight we have a group enjoying a Legendary Taste of Detroit Food Tour. American v. Lafayette (Battle of the Coneys), Buddy’s Pizza and finishing up with a cream puff sundae from Sanders Ice Cream & Chocolate. It's a delicious evening in Detroit.

Today we had the absolute pleasure of showing off the Greater Detroit area to our friends from Maryland's Baer Express Tours—and what a day it was!

From stepping back in time at the Jack Frost Auto Museum (complete with vintage automobile rides 🚗) to marveling at the breathtaking grandeur of the Fisher Building, our guests experienced Detroit's incredible story firsthand. We also explored the energy of Downtown Detroit, the rich history of Corktown, and the scenic beauty of Belle Isle.

Here's the amazing part: out of the entire group, only ONE person had ever visited Detroit before.

Like so many visitors, they arrived with curiosity and left with admiration. Throughout the day we heard comments about the city's architecture, history, beauty, and transformation. And the best compliment of all?

"We'll be back."

We have been a little quiet on social media this week… and for a VERY good reason! We have been busy hosting 100 visitors from Ohio for an incredible 4-day Detroit experience — and WOW did they fall in love with the city. ❤️🏙️

From touring Aretha Franklin’s home to going behind-the-scenes inside a real Detroit recording studio… from exploring the historic Packard Proving Grounds to taking in the beauty of Downtown Detroit and Belle Isle — these guests experienced Detroit in a way most people never do. And honestly… that was just the START. They packed SO much into their time here and experienced Detroit from so many different angles — music, history, art, architecture, food, culture, and local experiences you simply cannot find anywhere else. They even had the opportunity to meet some true music industry legends along the way, making their Detroit experience even more unforgettable. 🎶✨

But that’s not all…

They also took part in a custom Detroit street art experience where they helped create a one-of-a-kind mural project — and the BIG reveal was their own company logo incorporated into the artwork. 🎨🔥 Talk about a memorable Detroit moment!

And let’s talk about the FOOD. 🍕🍨 Many of our guests had their very first Detroit Style Pizza this week… and we are pretty sure we created some brand new lifelong obsessions.
