Harrington Racing

Well, it was fun while it lasted. Just came from the 2026 rules meeting. The 2 fastest cars on the track, one Dodge (us) and one Ford got kicked out of the class. Apparently they want cookie cutter racing. All Chevys. It just floors me that the drivers were the the only ones allowed to vote, and it's the drivers that can't catch our car are the ones deciding if we continue in this class. I've never seen such a display of poor sportsmanship in my life. I'm almost surprised that there wasn't 20 middle fingers up in the air pointed at us. Reminds me of all the crooked politics that we all witnessed the past few years. Soooo, I guess that means we have a lot of stuff for sale & decide what direction our racing program is headed. Obviously not to Fergus Falls....

Fergus results. Drew 99 out of 99 so had to start last in (of course) the heat with the fast runners. Passed a few cars but not enough to make the redraw, so had to start 16th in a 24 car field. Made it into the tech shed in 5th place, car's still in one piece & motor is still running so we'll call it a good night 👍😊

Well let's try this one more time. Even get to watch the old cars race tonight 👍😁

Ran 1st/2nd the whole race and on the last lap she got really hot...limped it in for 7th!!

How about that. The rain stopped long enough to make the trip. Now if we don't get stuck in the wet pits....
