Good morning, we have decided to close the storefront in Flushing . We will continue to take custom orders for signs and furniture Refurbishing. If you are looking to hostess a party of 6 or more in your home or office please message us and we can add you to our calendar. Thank you to all those who supported us in the studio and joined us for workshop’s. If we find the perfect space near our home town in Fenton we may reopen the storefront in the future.

Blu Tide Design - Our Story
Welcome to Blu Tide Design (formerly Black Door Design). We are a creative space specializing in custom projects using glass, wood, and “Sea” paints (No Staining or smells). Our workshops are designed to guide you through the creative process, while encouraging you to incorporate your own individuality and style. From start to finish, our workshops are hands on. We want you to experience the process and take pride in the completed piece. Materials and supplies are included in all of our workshops.
We are excited to offer both public and private events, both of which can be viewed on the calendar. The length of the workshops varies depending on the project we are making that day; some just take a bit longer than others. Check out the calendar to see what’s happening in the studio. We hope to see you soon!
