A beautiful view of the lake from my hotel, MargatritavillE before the Missouri Interface 2026 STEM Conference (Feb 18-20). Alan Westfall and myself from Adventure 360 participated in the conference with a booth displaying dinosaur fossils from Northeastern Montana. We were visited by Pamala Mills from SEMO, a member of the Conference Steering Committee responsible for the setup and management of the STEM Conference. Our booth had a huge impact on the science teachers who talked with us extensively about our experiences prospecting for fossils and our Adventure 360 programs in Montana. Many returned after their conference sessions to continue talking to us. I have never seen the interest in our programs at this level........it was unbelievable!
Note: Our next Fossil Event is the STEM Fest, at Parkway Southwest Middle School, February 28th.

Adventure 360 staff of Ron Giesler (director), Alan Westfall, Gary Schaefer and myself made trip down to Southeast Missouri University (SEMO) to work with Pamala Mills and her students on the dinosaur fossils they found in Montana last summer. With expert guidance from the Adventure 360 staff, the students did a great job prepping their fossils. Pam was excellent host for us with delicious pizza and snacks for lunch. We always have a fun time with Pam and her students and look forward to another adventure together prospecting for dinosaur fossils in Montana.

Adventure 360 was invited by the Wildwood YMCA to display dinosaur fossils at their Fall Harvest Festival last Saturday, October 18th. The WMCA staff and visitors had a great time touching real fossils and talking to us about our experiences prospecting for fossils in Montana. Alan Westfall and myself talked to a lot of people throughout the long day and there was a lot of interest in our Adventure 360 Paleo X programs. Once again, it was a very successful fossil presentation by Adventure 360.
WEE Pre-Schoolers singing their traditional Dinosaur Song.

WOW! The WEE pre-schoolers really look cute in their dinosaur hats! At the Central Baptist Church in Eureka, MO, Adventure 360 gave it's annual Dinosaur Fossil Presentation to the WEE Pre-School. Alan Westfall gave an excellent presentation to the pre-schoolers and teachers. He very skillfully talked about the differences between a dinosaur and a reptile, characteristics of the Triceratops and Hadrosaur, how we prospect for dinosaurs in Montana and the field gear we use. I gave a short talk about the characteristics of the T.rex. After the presentation, the pre-schoolers and teachers had a fun time touching real dinosaur fossils, chatting with us about our experiences prospecting for fossils and of course they had a great time assembling the turtle shell and dinosaur rib puzzles. After looking at dinosaur fossils, the pre-schoolers sang to us their traditional "Dinosaur Song."

Adventure 360, for the fifth consecutive year, made their annual Dinosaur Fossil Presentation at the Middendorf-Kredell Library in O'Fallon, MO. Alan Westfall gave an outstanding talk about, "What Makes a Dinosaur a Dinosaur." After the talk, the audience had a great experience viewing and touching real dinosaur fossils. The Adventure 360 staff, Alan Westfall, Trish Erzfeld and myself had a fun time talking to the audience (parents, children, students) about our experiences, prospecting for dinosaur fossils in the Badlands of Northeastern Montana. Of course, the two fossil puzzles (turtle shell and Hadrosaur rib) was a big hit with everyone. Lastly, thanks and appreciation goes to the Adventure 360 staff and Cathy Swanson (library host) for another highly successful fossil presentation.
