It’s National Mentoring Month! 🌟 At Maritz, we believe mentorship is a powerful catalyst for growth for both mentees and mentors.

We're proud to share the story of James Walsh and Kira Cashman. Here are a few thoughts from James on this experience:

"As I mentored Kira, it helped me grow in awareness of my own communication style and skills (and areas of opportunity). Kira refreshed my curiosity and humility as I paused more to lead with questions and understanding (instead of answers and directives). I’m more aware of my own communication style today because of the mentor/mentee program; listen first, always reconfirm assumptions, and coach towards decisions. My leadership skills were deepened in ways that show up daily with the Maritz clients I interact with."
