We strive to have our patients reach their fullest innate potential and live their life without limits! was born and raised in Bainbridge, Indiana. Years ago, something happened that changed his life forever.

“When I was very young, I was suffering from chronic ear infections. I was having them at least once a month. It was getting to the point where medication was not working anymore. The doctor

s wanted to perform surgery to put tubes in my ears, but my parents wanted to try one last thing. They took me to my grandfather who was a chiropractor. He did an exam, took some X-rays, and then “adjusted” my spine. The adjustment did not hurt; it actually felt good. I got relief, and the ear infections went away. I did not have to have the surgery! I have never forgotten that, and from that day forward it was my decision to go to chiropractic school. My grandfather also helped me when I was playing sports as I was growing up. He took care of my spine and kept me on the field without missing any playing time! Chiropractic has truly helped me and my family. My goal in life is to help others experience the wonderful benefits of chiropractic. At my office, our purpose is to provide our patients with the best care possible, so they can increase the quality of their lives. Our mission is to help everyone live as long as possible, pain-free.”

Dr. Burns received his Bachelor’s Degree in Movement and Sports Science from Purdue University in 1996. In 1998 he completed his Bachelor’s in Human Anatomy. Dr. Burns graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in December of 1999. He coached 7th and 8th grade girls’ basketball for five years at Visitation Academy. Dr. Burns worked with another chiropractor for one year, and has been in private practice since 2001. His adjustment techniques include diversified, activator, and soft tissue techniques. He is currently involved in yearly continuing education through chiropractic seminars, which not only help him to keep up to date, but also fuel his passion for the work he does. He also delivers lectures on natural health and wellness to both private and public groups in the community. Dr. Burns moved to the St. Louis area in 1996. He and his wife Heather enjoy working out and golfing, as well as spending family time with their three children, Luke, Kate, and Drew.

Well folks, looks like the groundhog wasn’t kidding! Due to some covered road conditions, we'll be opening late today.

Out of an over abundance of caution we will delay the opening of the office tomorrow Tuesday, January 7th. We will open at 2pm!
The parking lot and sidewalks are still a sheet of ice, so we are hoping this will give the complex time to make it safer for our Body Balance family. If you had a morning appointment feel free to call or text the office if you’d like to be adjusted in the afternoon starting at 2pm to 6.
If you had a massage appointment scheduled in the morning and would like to reschedule, give the office a call tomorrow afternoon. We will do our best to find another appointment for you.
Any appointments already scheduled for 2pm or later Tuesday will be available. Please stay safe!!
