We have started our Spring cleanups and also our first round of fertilizer. We also plan to start our mowing services the week of April 29th, 2013.

There are so many things I am thankful for this year – none more than the health of family, friends and co-workers. With that in mind, I’ve decided to do something special in 2013…I’m going to jail on February 6th, and need your help raising bail!!!

Okay, it’s not “real” jail…I’ve agreed to do an hour of “hard time” to help raise money for children and adults in our community who are living with neuromuscular diseases.

I hope you’ll join me to help ensure these families continue to receive the services that mean so much to them…like visits to MDA clinics, MDA summer camp, flu shots, support groups – all at no charge to them, thanks to big-hearted heroes like you. That’s right - in MDA world where a $30 flu shot can actually help save a life, that contribution would make you a genuine a hero!

It has been awhile since I have updated this because of how busy we have been here at Shoemaker Services Inc. We are now on round 3 of our fertilizer program. It is very important to get some water on the lawns because of how dry this season has been. Also, we would love for our customers to vote for us for one of the best service companies in Fenton. We will be at the Bordines Expo in Grand Blanc on Torrey road this weekend. Come visit our booth. I (operations manager for lawn maintenance) will be there on Saturday with Denny (General Manager and landscape operations manager), Janet (Landscape Designer and Architect) and Jeff (Owner) will be there on Sunday.

Round one of our fertilizer will be completed by the end of this week and we will be starting Round 2 (Broadleaf control) on Monday.
