A quick challenge for a group of friends to craft something in a day. I was able to make this in about 9 hours. From rough lumber, to finished and photographed. Cherry and Padauk with splines and magnets to close.

My most recent project, a display cabinet for a Murano glass sculpture. Can't wait to make something new.

The legs are coming along smoothly. An open mortise and tennon joint to join the two pairs of legs together.
People often wonder why custom made furniture costs so much money, just these two sets of legs (6 pieces of wood in total) took 70 cuts. And that doesn't include test pieces, jigs, setup blocks, milling/dimensioning the rough lumber to the appropriate size. A lot of thought, planning and care goes into building custom furniture.

A walnut and maple jewelry box with brass shadow lines and custom made brass handles. I'm extremely happy with how this project came out.
This one of a kind box is for sale on my etsy page!

Made a few walnut and maple keepsake boxes. Complete with a velvet pillow and decorative walnut splines. One of the more elegant things I've made.

Most recent project completed. A simple pair of nightstands to replace the ones we already had. It amazes me how much can be learned from what was going to be a simple project. Message me if your interested in something for your home!

Finished up my latest project for a client. Solid walnut cutting board, 13.5x20x2". Loved how it turned out!

Did a little reorganizing this weekend and made some floating shelves for the beer glasses I've collected over time. Also made a quick divider for a kitchen drawer to fit everything perfectly.
Send me a DM if you think one of these would fit your house perfectly!
