Finding a cause and cure for melorheostosis My name is Stephanie Papke. I was diagnosed with a rare bone disease called melorheostosis in 2002. Thank you!
I suffer from severe, chronic pain on a daily basis and have lost over 50% of the strength and function in my left arm. Melo affects children most frequently – the majority are diagnosed under the age of 20. I was fortunate enough to have a successful volleyball career at Washington State University from 1993–1997 before feeling the painful effects and limitations of this debilitating disease. Ple

Thank you so much to everyone that supported the melofund pub crawl this year! It was so much fun once again and it was a huge success! We were able to send over $3500 to the melorheostosis association to help them run their conferences and bring patients and families together so they don’t have to fight this disease alone! My friends and family are the best and you continue to amaze me!❤️
