More and more people are looking for a way to stay connected so this page was created for just that purpose. Look for events, ways to support, and news from the DHS bands including the link to the still important website. Students, this is not the place to ask if there is jazz band tomorrow! Chang's band member page will remain for that purpose and the other fun that happens over there. Remember to post some of the fun here as well!
Decatur High School Jazz 1 will be opening for the Federal Way Symphony Big Band on May 9th at the PAEC. Use code "Decatur" at checkout, and Decatur bands will receive $9 from each ticket! Support the band! It is going to be a great show!

These kids are beyond amazing!!!! They killed it tonight at Hot Java Cool Jazz. I am so proud of the hard work they have put into this performance and all their other performances!!!💖 If anyone got pictures please tag us!!!!

🎷 Big news for Decatur Jazz! Our talented students have been selected as one of just five Seattle-area high school jazz bands invited to perform at the 29th annual Starbucks Hot Java Cool Jazz at the Paramount Theatre this March — and they’re the first South Sound school ever to take the stage!
