It feels like he was just born yesterday, and I’ve loved him my whole life.
How can it be that God showed His greatest gift of mercy by giving me Mohau Samuel? My gosh I’m grateful.
Yesterday we played at the park so long that we garnered a whole squad also playing tag with us!
Mohau’s favorite things:
• tickling and laughing
• all things dinosaurs
• all animals “mommy, we loved those capybaras today didn’t we? And the goats.” 🫠
• foods: pasta, salmon, strawberries but he eats anything as long as it’s cold 🤣
• soft shorts and t-shirts all day
• being cold (he’s sad it’s almost summer! 🤣🤣🤣)
• friends
• praying anytime we hear sirens
• praying in tongues (“oh I was really going fast there!” 🕊️🤣🔥)
• all things music and dancing
Ok this was fun! Tell me something about your kids! What has made you laugh lately? May we always treasure this sweet sweet gift of time.

As we go into Easter weekend, I can’t help but sit in awe of who God is. Reading Psalm 22. Reading the gospels. Some of the prophesies fulfilled. It is all just so remarkable. 😭
He is holy. Completely set apart. Above every power, every authority, every name. There is no one like Him.
And He did it for me
He did it for you.
The same God who holds all things together sees you, loves you, and chose you. He sent His Son for you. Not because you earned it, but because He is that good.
What kind of God is this?
So powerful, yet so personal.
So holy, yet completely close
This weekend is more than a service or songlist or Easter lunch (although I love all those things!!).
You are known.
You are loved.
You are invited into relationship with a holy God who gave everything to be close to you.
We will never stop singing of His holiness. And we will never stop being amazed by His love.
You are lifted HIGH Jesus!! Holy Forever!! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Big Bible announcement happening today!!
This may seem silly to you. But to me, it feels so big to start from a completely blank slate in a whole new translation. But here we go!! I am so excited for the new revelation that will be revealed in His Word and all the times with God to be had in these pages.
To all my Artisan NIV Bible friends, still the best. I’ll keep you posted on this new CSB as the weeks and months unfold! I’m so overwhelmingly grateful for God’s Word. For the gift of many translations. For the gift to be able to “start a new Bible.”
How many people today and years before would covet this opportunity. So here we go. Cheers to empty margins and fresh revelations.

Raising a son is really like having your heart live outside your body.
