Trail running in the great Pacific Northwest!

06/24/2026

Some call it trail magic, but a lot of hard work has gone into cleaning up the Devil's Gulch course. Huge shoutout to the dirtbikers and trail crews who’ve been out clearing trees, cutting blowdowns, and making the Devil’s Gulch course runnable once again. This race is our toughest of the year, and every mile they clean up makes a massive difference for runners on race day. From early‑morning saw sessions to hauling debris off steep slopes, these folks are the reason the course is coming together. Devil’s Gulch 100 will be starting before you know it!

🚨 NOW HIRING: Community Marketing Coordinator

We’re looking for someone who’s already immersed in the trail running world—not just into fitness or someone who thinks trail running sounds fun. We want someone who knows the community, knows the races, and is excited to help more people find their way into it.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is a part-time position with Evergreen Trail Runs. ETR puts on trail and ultra events across Washington state, and we want to do a better job of staying connected to the community between race weekends.

The main things you’d be doing: looking for partnership/collaboration opportunities, social media, organizing free community trail runs/events, and working our races. There’s also a lot of room to bring your own ideas —this is a big part of why we’re hiring for this. We have a sense of what we want to build, but we are looking for the right person to bring their experience and ideas to ETR and lead the development of a community marketing and event program.

The community runs might eventually grow into a more formal run club.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Proactively developing ideas and strategies for community marketing.

• Organizing and presenting these ideas to ETR Owners & Race Directors, including

associated costs, planning requirements and equipment needed for execution

• Organizing and leading regular free community trail runs

• Managing ETR’s social presence — Instagram, Facebook, wherever our people are

• Working most or all of our races throughout the year

• Building relationships with local running stores, clubs, and community members

• Creating content when you’re out on the trail or at events

Echo Valley ⛺
Still waiting for the full photo drop later this week but this weekend was too much fun to not share immediately! Perfect weather, beautiful trails, delicious food, and countless smiles filled the valley and sent every home satisfied (and maybe a little sore). Can't wait to be back again next year!

🐯 Tiger's Swan Song 🦢
As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end, but we are going to make sure that end is epic. This year will be our last year hosting the Tiger Peak Challenge, and we want you to come celebrate with us.
Join us on June 27th for the final Tiger Peak Challenge: one last chance to pin on a bib, cruise the gorgeous trails of Tiger Peak, bask in the wildflowers, and for you hearty runners, break out your poles and make the trek to West Tiger #3 multiple times. We have three distances to choose from: 5M, half-marathon, and 50K.
Every finisher will get a custom-made wooden coaster and we have awards for top three female, male, and non-binary runners. And, of course, we will have a finish line party rivaling Coachella (Marisa is already curating a special playlist). We will have yummy food, cold beverages, and lots of dancing (mostly by me). Sound like a good time? I agree! Sign up now!!
We can’t wait to celebrate our final year of Tiger with you!

🦅 Soaring Eagle Recap 🦅

Side effects may include wet clothes and sunburns; if you were looking for some weather variety this race sure kept you on your toes. Our biggest race of the year so far, over 350 racers braved the murky forecast and ran some truly crushable trail. Finish line was full of smiles, soggy socks, and soup! Thank you to everyone who came out and ran with us, and we hope to see you all again soon!

Special shout-out to and for the spectacular photos; links to photos will be sent out later in the week!
