Time flies—my sweet niece Emma is graduating this weekend! We’re incredibly proud of all she’s achieved and excited for all that’s to come. It was such a joy to take her senior photos earlier this year.

Have any of you watched the movie Flow? My children and I recently watched it. While they probably wouldn’t watch it again, the film was interesting, had good lessons and kept us guessing.

I created a shaker ornament by sublimating images onto acrylic and cutting the acrylic with my XTool P2 laser machine.

Making of the earrings

I had so much fun creating these laser-cut earrings for our emergency department this year! It’s such a joy to see the team wearing them and adding a little sparkle to the ER. Thank you to everyone working this Christmas holiday.

This year’s Christmas cookies are mini chocolate dipped cookies! Cute, quick and simple, compared to royal icing cookies.

Tips:
1. The mini cookie cutters are MINI! It was hard to get the dough out of some of the cutters. Caleb came to the rescue - only his fingers could push the dough out of the candy cane & gingerbread man cookie cutters
2. Candy melts - microwave 30 minutes at a time. Thin with vegetable oil as needed
3. Place dipped cookie onto parchment paper. Use a toothpick to move the cookie on the parchment paper in order to get rid of excess chocolate

Jewelry inspired from a dessert? Why not? 😆 Earrings and pin to commemorate Lauren’s signature dessert: pandan coconut chiffon cake.

One of my favorite things about crafting is seeing the expression on someone’s face when they open up my gift.

My cousin-in-law, Lauren (rockstar baker) is opening her own bakery cafe in New York!! .

I am currently exploring and learning which colors are most suitable for engraving. I love how this photo engraving looks on lighter colored bottles.
