Building a stronger workforce takes collaboration. ⚡
Shawn Bell, Workforce Development Director, recently participated in a panel at “Workforce Strategies for a Thriving Region,” hosted by NorthWest Arkansas Community College.
During the discussion, he shared how the Multi-User Silicon Carbide Research and Fabrication Laboratory (MUSiC) is creating new opportunities in semiconductor research, and how our workforce courses are helping prepare individuals for careers in growing technical fields.
The session also opened the door for great questions from the audience, highlighting the strong interest in accessible pathways into tech careers. 💡

What does this mean for you? 🤔
Semiconductor fabs are not just where technology is made. They are places where careers begin.
From technicians to engineers, these facilities rely on people with different skills and backgrounds to keep things running. You do not need one specific path to get there. 💡
Through workforce development, we are helping create opportunities to learn, train, and step into roles that power the technology
Follow us to learn more about careers in semiconductors and workforce opportunities. ⚡
Not sure what you want to do after high school? That’s okay!
You don’t need everything figured out right away. There are many paths forward, and one of them is becoming a technician. ⚡️
With or without a college degree, you can build real skills, gain hands-on experience, and start a career in a growing industry.
Your future doesn’t have to be certain today. It just has to start somewhere. 💡

Breaking the myth that there’s only one path into STEM. ⚡
Shawn Bell recently visited LISA Academy to share how students can build successful careers in STEM with or without a traditional four-year degree.
Through our workforce development efforts, we’re helping students see that curiosity, hands-on learning, and a willingness to try something new can open doors to careers in tech and engineering. 💡
You don’t have to have everything figured out—and math doesn’t have to be your strongest subject to get started.
It all begins with curiosity.
