Crocheting is like second nature to me. I started at about age 7, learning from my granny, then later in life took on custom orders. Some small, some 8 ft long. 😘

I retired from taking orders. I am now spending time making things I want to make for me or gifts- when my arthritis hands allow.

In this video, I show how I add the border & handle to the 2 granny squares I made in the last class. It is beginner friendly, a simple single crochet (sc) and a few slip stitches (sl), to make it.
In the next video I will show how I line & sew in the zipper. So stay tuned 😎.

On this I'm going over the , how to do a color change and how I count granny squares.

Who ready for the next class? This week we will be learning how to make a fun crochet bag, with a liner and zipper.
You will need these items if you wish to follow along;
Yarn that is ww4, with a matching hook,
Scissors,
Yarn or darning needle 🪡 for hand sewing. I recommend a medium sized one.
8 inch Fabric squares
7 inch zipper.
This is a great project for a beginner with a little experience.
Stitches we will be using is chaining, slip stiching(ss), and double crochet (dc).

Well I thought I uploaded this here. Guess not. Here is the crochet purse I made for myself.

This is a advanced beginner friendly pattern. Meaning if you can do a classic granny square, and half double crochet this one is great.
Even hand sewing the liner and zipper was a breeze.

I made this one up as I went along, however if there is any interest on wanting a pattern, please let me know. I will make it happen and available.
