Thank you Towering Mountain Gourd Society. These backpacks with school supplies have been going out to students,
FMS, we were honored to have Dził Da Hiziłii, the Towering Mountain Gourd Society, visit us today to donate 50 backpacks filled with school supplies. This incredibly generous contribution is the result of their dedicated efforts to raise funds for students in need. The society is actively involved in supporting local causes, including providing meals for individuals in treatment facilities and partnering with the Farmington Police Department and other local organizations.
These backpacks and supplies will now be distributed to students through FMS Threads, ensuring they reach those who need them most.
Mr. Ramondos Jim, the President of the Towering Mountain Gourd Society, shared that the group’s heartfelt mission is to help those less fortunate and inspire others to pay it forward. Their future plans include continuing to raise funds for school supplies, working with veteran organizations, and organizing food and wood drives for families. The society was started by Mr. Raymond Jim Redhouse.
We deeply appreciate their ongoing support and their commitment to working with our school resource officers and the broader community. Together, we are making a difference!
