Meeting at the Farmington Public Library on Wednesday, June 17th at 6pm, come meet other true crime aficionados as we do a deep dive on this case.

Once Upon a Crime will be discussing the "Midnight Assassin," years before London was paralyzed by Jack the Ripper. A sadistic phantom haunted the moonlit streets of 1880s Austin, TX targeting domestic servants with brutal precision.

Have you met our Summer Reading Ambassador for June? Come to the library and say "hi" to Theodore "Teddy" Rex, visiting us all the way from the Cretaceous Seaway!

Teddy is here to remind you to read and log your books, and while he's happy to pose for photo ops, he is unable to sign autographs, because his arms are too short. Becuase he is 68 million years old, please don't ask him for a ride.

Visit Teddy now through the end of June, and then see who takes his place in July!

Corsets and Dukes and Carriages, oh my!

While this genre dates to the Regency itself with novelists like Jane Austen, it had a sudden resurgence in recent years, thanks to our favorite steamy streaming regency romance show.

For this meeting, read a Regency Romance (or 2!) and come prepared to discuss how it fits within the Romance Genre! From the classic 'novel of manners' to the more contemporary family sagas, this genre is all about the witty banter.
