Faribault Area Learning Center

Greetings, ALC family! The FALC is the fortunate recipient of a grant to plant 8 fruit trees to start a small community orchard for our "new" neighborhood at McKinley! The grant is provided to us through the Faribault Foundation and will be presented at 12:30 TOMORROW (Saturday) in Central Park. The Faribault Foundation does amazing things for our community and we are excited (and grateful) they chose to help the ALC in this project. Please join us tomorrow at Central Park to celebrate this awesome opportunity!

They did it! Congratulations, Class of 2026 🎓🎉 We are SO proud of you 💚

A few of our Faribault Area Learning Center students and staff recently had the opportunity to share about the ALC with the School Board.

They highlighted hands-on learning experiences in areas like 3D printing, digital media production, mental health and wellness, intro to nursing, and more — all designed to connect learning with student interests and future careers.

Students also shared personal reflections about how the ALC has supported their growth, confidence, relationships, attendance, and progress toward graduation. Staff shared excitement about the future of the program and the expanded opportunities connected to a future ALC facility.

Conferences looked a little different this quarter 😎 A big thanks to all students and families who made our end of the year celebration such a blast!!!
