I just received the newest issue of the Western Historical Quarterly, and I am pleasantly surprised to find one of our books reviewed in the back pages! The review of Lynched: Mob Murders on the Northern Great Plains, 1882-1931, by co-authors Doreen Chaky and Adrienne Stepanek (now deceased), reports the work is "[c]arefully wrought and footnoted," and is "[a] quick, lively, and thought-provoking read" that "will be of interest to those concerned with North Dakota history and particularly those interested in engaging narrative over a theoretical and methodological meditation."
Lynched made its way through our production process by the capable hands of our Certificate in Publishing book team: Taylor Blumer (now Associate Editor at State Historical Society of North Dakota Press), Mike Huynh (working on his second masters, this time in Game Science and Design, Northeastern University, Boston, MA), and Connor McCormick (now Textbook Specialist at NDSU Bookstore).
Congratulations to the authors and to the team that brought the manuscript to publication! :-)
Lynched is available at Ingram, Amazon, your favorite indie bookstore, and at our online store:

It's fun to move each step closer to publication. 😊 Here is the Library of Congress record for a book we plan to release this coming fall by Lillian Crook and Jim Fuglie:
Scoria Lily: The Life, Letters, and Poetry of Colonel Paul Southworth Bliss.
You might note there is some wonky spacing & capitalization in the document, but this is the official format as provided by the LOC.
Certificate in Publishing interns Tara Schneider and Hannah Rebsom served as the book team for this title. One of their tasks was to pull together all of the metadata that made it possible for LOC to prepare this Cataloging-in-Publication Data record, which will appear on the copyright page of the book.
