Introducing Shining Stars! We'll be sharing the successes of our therapists and the kids they serve in Texas, because everyday moments can have a huge impact. ๐
Today we're sharing the progress Gabriel has made with his therapist, Elizabeth!
Elizabeth shares "At 5 years old, this sweet boy has achieved a huge milestone. There was a time when even hearing the word โtoiletโ caused fear, and sitting on one felt impossible. Through patience, consistency, and so much love, his mom worked tirelessly beside him every step of the way, helping him build confidence little by little.
Now, just before starting his first year of school, he is successfully using the restroom independently. What may seem small to some is a huge victory for him and a beautiful reminder that with hard work, dedication, and love, amazing progress is possible. We are so proud of how far he has come."

Today's Tip Tuesday is with Ashley Seiler!
She shares "I always like to encourage families to incorporate novel items into mealtimes to make it more interesting such as serving food to them on a cutting board or in a muffin tin. Use food picks or tongs to eat the food. Use condiments/dips such as yogurt, peanut butter, hummus, spinach dip, queso, etc. and use your imagination to โplayโ with the food (ex. the strawberry is a duck and the yogurt is a pond). Encourage them to interact with the food in these ways without the added pressure for them to taste or eat it to make it a positive experience!"
