June’s plants are anything but ordinary.
Pebbled Tiger Jaws (Faucaria tuberculosa)
The bumpy texture makes this one of the most unique succulents we’ve featured in our boxes.
Blue Mist (Echeveria secunda)
A classic light blue Echeveria with a powdery coating that gives it that almost fairy blue look.
What’s your favorite this month: the quirky Tiger Jaws or the frosted Blue Mist?

Meet June’s Plants! ☀️
This month’s box is bringing the perfect mix of pastel and weird texture.
Echeveria ‘Blue Mist’
If you love classic rosette succulents this one is for you! It is known for its frosty blue leaves, pastel coloring, and it’s easy going. Given it plenty of bright light and it can get lavender-blue tones and will produce offsets over time, creating a little succulent family of its own. 🌱
Faucaria tuberculosa (Pebbled Tiger Jaws)
This one looks like it came straight from another planet! It’s Covered in raised bumps. It is one of the most unique succulents we’ve had in a box. And when it’s happy and has plenty of sun it can give you huge golden yellow blooms that are sometimes larger than the plant itself.
We hope you love this month’s plants as much as we do! Be sure to tag us at so we can see your new plant babies settling into their new homes.

Not sure if your succulent needs more sun or less? 🌞
A succulent will tell you what it needs if you know what to look for. Stretching and leaning usually mean it’s asking for more light and bleached or crispy leaves can be signs it’s getting too much, too fast.
As the days get longer and brighter, keep an eye on your plants and make changes slowly. Most succulents prefer a slow transition (hardening off) rather than an overnight move into full summer sun. 🌵

What is succulent dormancy?
Just like us, many succulents have periods of active growth and periods of rest. Their resting phase is called dormancy. During dormancy your succulents growth slows and they may need less water and attention. 😴
Not all succulents go dormant at the same time. Some are summer dormant others are winter dormant.
Fun fact: Aeoniums like the sunburst in your May box are summer dormant and do most of their growing during the cooler months.
However! Most succulents are opportunistic growers, meaning dormancy isn’t always an on/off switch. If they’re kept indoors in they may continue growing slowly instead of going fully dormant like they would outdoors in intense summer heat.

Succulent care is easier than people think ☀️
A little bright light, dry soil between waterings, and good airflow can make all the difference.
Save this post so you can always refer back and reach out anytime you need help! 🌱
It’s been some time since its last watering. You’ve checked the leaves, checked the soil, and you’re still not sure if there’s water hiding at the bottom of the pot? Try this simple chopstick test to know for sure 🌵
