A huge congratulations to our Explorers cohort 2740 on their badge pinning last night! These young men and women have spent the last three months gaining extensive knowledge about the fire service and gaining real world experience. This is not an easy program to get through, but the young folks that have successfully completed it are the A team! Congratulations 🎉

As graduation ceremonies begin and the feeling of summer comes, many people will be out celebrating. Don’t let the celebrations cloud your judgement, even buzzed driving is drunk driving.

We are so thankful to Palomar Health for inviting us to participate in this years Trauma Survivor’s Day! This event reconnects survivors of traumatic injuries with their care team from the first responders, to the doctors, physical therapist, and more. Firefighter Richard Quevedo met with Leo two years after a motorcycle accident that left him with traumatic injuries.

We are so happy to see Leo made a full recovery. We don’t always get to see the result of our work so it’s always rewarding to meet back up with past patients.
