This past week the United States Fire and Police Championships were held in San Diego and EMT Luke Stengler crushed the competition and earned Gold in the No-GI tournament! Congrats Luke, way to represent!

We want to proudly recognize one of our own for his exemplary display of service and duty! Congratulations to Captain/Paramedic John Choi in receiving the Medal of Valor. Well deserved! 🔥

Info: On the evening of April 26th North County Fire’s own Captain John Choi heroically acted when he came upon a structure fire in Oceanside while off duty. Thanks to Captain Choi’s efforts 5 adults and 2 pets were rescued. He not only ensured the residents were safely evacuated, he ensured to close all interior doors to help contain the fire before responding agencies arrived.

From plastic helmets and ride-alongs to the real thing. 🚒🔥

We want to take a moment and recognize what would be the lateRob Hager’s 43rd Birthday today. We lost Rob last september but not a day goes by that our union and community don’t think about Rob’s joyous attitude and impact on our community. We love you Rob and your legacy carries on.
