Sent this handsome son of mine off to junior prom today. I think they rocked it.

Celebrated another year around the sun all weekend long with friends & family. Now I need a nap!

If only we still took the time to look this fabulous when we went out to dinner.

Nine years ago the world lost this incredible woman. Beautiful, extremely intelligent, incredibly strong, generous and unconditionally loving mother of eight. Miss you mom.

This night sky though.

This morning I took an ailing humming bird along with me through the entire yoga practice. Sweet, gentle, fragile, beautiful and vulnerable. The little bird clung on and and held steadfast with me through every pose. With his vibrant colors returning, started to perk up and appeared to get stronger.

Embracing this day like I am this little bird with mindfulness, intention and fortitude.

You know you’re from SoCal when you’re like a kid in a candy store the moment it hails!
