Our Opportunity Quilt was displayed at the Chamber of Commerce's Nonprofit Expo, held at the Silvergate Retirement Residence. Our members, Nancy Miller and Sandy Robinson, sold tickets for our beautiful quilt and shared our love of quilting with everyone at the event.

Our own Ann Turley will be speaking at El Camino Quilters this Tuesday, July 14th, at 10 am. Join us! Dove Library in Carlsbad, CA.
She is also teaching a workshop on Improv Piecing on Wednesday, July 15th, at Quilt in a Day. There are a few spots open! Grab them while you can.

Our newest opportunity quilt is now available for interested people to purchase tickets. See any Fallbrook Quilt Guild Ways and Means committee to purchase tickets. They are $1.00 per ticket or 6 tickets for $5.00.

Our members made quite a showing at the San Diego County Fair! 9 members, 20 quilts, 1 - 1st, 2 - 2nd, 1 - 3rd and 1 - Honorable Mention Ribbon! We demonstrated 3 separate days showing our skills with Sashiko and sewing disappearing 4-patch blocks.

Our outgoing President, Becky Forbes, was honored to represent the Fallbrook Quilt Guild today at the Fallbrook Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Luncheon. The guild was presented four separate commendations and recognitions from state and local government for its 25 years of membership with our local Chamber of Commerce. CONGRATULATIONS LADIES!

Today’s zipper workshop led by Sue Bouchard had 20 participants who turned out darling bags made of assorted fabric  such as polkadots, penguins, and flowers.
Terrific instructions coupled with eager learners made for a very successful workshop.
