I'm on the hunt for a cozy new space for Fallbrook Hair Stylist and thought I'd ask this amazing community.

I'm looking for a small, quiet, private space for my appointment-only hair loss and hair replacement studio. Since my clients value privacy and a calm environment, I'm thinking outside the traditional salon setting.

I'm looking for something like:
✨ A tiny home
✨ A guest house or casita
✨ A detached studio
✨ A private office
✨ Or another unique space that could accommodate my business
✨Open to all ideas or spaces

I am also open to taking over a lease if it is local.

Ideally, the space would have (or allow) plumbing for at least one shampoo bowl and be located in or near Fallbrook.

Medical issues can be incredibly hard to navigate—doctor’s appointments, procedures, medications, tests, therapy, life-saving treatments…the list goes on and on. When so many things become urgent, basic self-care often falls to the wayside.
One of the first things people stop doing during long hospital stays or illness is brushing their hair.
If you have a loved one in the hospital or a skilled nursing facility, please consider designating someone to care for their hair. Even something as simple as leaving a brush by the bed so daily visitors can gently brush it can make a huge difference. It creates a moment of connection between two people.
Hair is deeply personal—especially for many women. It holds identity, dignity, and a sense of normalcy during a time when so much feels out of control.
This beautiful woman suffered nerve damage that caused significant falls and left her in a hospital bed for more than four months. The thought of shaving her head was heartbreaking to her.
We spent 7.5 hours together working through severe matting while sharing stories about our lives. By the end, we had become fast friends.
In the end, about half of her “cube” of matted hair had to be removed because it simply wasn’t salvageable. But she didn’t lose all of her hair. We didn’t use clippers. And she left with hair still on her head.
Now she can focus on healing the rest of herself. 🩷
