Young Marines in the 2024 Hollywood Parade. The YMs had a great time with three other units. Keeping friendships going and teamwork.

San Diego “Veterans Parade.” Camp Pendleton joined forces with City Heights and San Diego in support of the MCL Bulldog Detachment.

Young Marines completed community service at the Combat Logistics Regiment 1 “Trunk or Treat.” They were asked to judge the best costumes and best trunk. They also helped with the working party to break down the event. The Colonel Pluas was very impressed with Young Marines. Great event and a new relationship has been started. CLR-1 plans to host the Young Marines on future events.

YM 2024 2nd California Regiment Birthday Ball celebration. Congratulations to the Regiment Senior & Junior Young Marines of the Year, YM/SSgt Chandler Black and YM/Cpl Andre Nguyen. Also, congratulations to the Regiment Unit of the Year: City Heights Young Marines. The Regiment Volunteer of the year is Jose Escarsega from Camp Pendleton Young Marines. It was a great event and allot of fun for the Young Marines. Allot of gift baskets and two bikes were won. A special thanks to the evening's MC, YM SSgt Sophia Halverson.
