Overview: God Is Just A Call Away

Series Overview: Kids should understand that speaking to God is as easy as calling out to Siri or Alexa. Kids will look at some of the prayers recorded in the Bible to see just how eager God is to listen to us, speak with us, and answer our prayers.

Series Memory Verse: “Rejoice always. Never stop praying”
1 Thessalonians 5:16-17

God is doing something amazing in our Kid's Ministry. Get Up, Come To Church, Grow As A Family!

If you know you know!! Be sure to wear that B.G.M.C. Swag, bringing your missions offering and join us as we pray for our missionaries around the world.

🇺🇸 SEPTEMBER 11 NEVER FORGET 🇺🇸

Today marks 25 years since September 11, 2001; a day that changed our nation and left a permanent mark on the hearts of so many.

For our children, September 11 may be a story they only know from history books. But it is important that we teach them not only what happened, but what we can learn from it.

We remember the nearly 3,000 precious lives that were lost.
We remember the families who lost loved ones.
We remember the firefighters, police officers, first responders, military personnel, and ordinary people who showed extraordinary courage.
We remember a nation that, in the midst of tragedy, came together.

And most importantly, we remember that God was and still is our refuge and strength. Psalm 46:1.

September 11 reminds us that life is precious, tomorrow is never promised, and love, kindness, courage, compassion, and faith matter.

As we teach the next generation, may we teach them to remember without living in fear; to honor without hatred; to stand for what is right while loving others; and to run to Jesus when the world feels uncertain.

Our children need to know that darkness does not have the final word.

Jesus is our hope.
Jesus is our peace.
Jesus is our refuge.

Today, we remember the lives lost.
We honor the heroes.
We pray for the families who still carry the loss.
And we choose to live with greater love, greater kindness, and greater faith.

🇺🇸 25 years later, we remember.
We honor.
We pray.
We teach.
We love.
Never Forget. ❤️

Tonight in Kidz Rock we learned that Church is about the PEOPLE and not the building. We took some time to write down the names of friends we want to come to church or to pray for.

Our adults just finished a series on the Book of ACTS, and we thought, you know what? Our kids need to learn about the early church too! So starting tonight in Kidz Rock-Rock Life, we are starting a series on ACTS! See ya at 6:45!

Objective: What were the first Christians like?
This series is an in-depth look at the book of Acts. Acts is short for “Acts of the Apostles.” Apostles were those who had witnessed Jesus rsthand and began spreading his word and building
the first churches through the Holy Spirit even though sometimes they faced big challenges.

Series Verse: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you. Then you will tell people about me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria. ” Acts 1:8

HEY KIDZ ROCK FAMILIES!
Prayer for Students and Teachers on the First Week of School

Heavenly Father,
We come before You with grateful hearts as a new school year begins. Lord, we lift up every student and every teacher stepping into classrooms this week.

For the students, we ask for peace in their minds, joy in their hearts, and courage to learn and grow. Protect them from fear, anxiety, and distraction, and let them feel Your presence guiding their steps. May their friendships be uplifting, their efforts fruitful, and their lives shine with Your light.

For the teachers, we pray for wisdom, patience, and strength. Lord, anoint them with creativity and compassion to nurture every child in their care. Remind them that their labor is not in vain, but a holy calling to shape lives and build futures.

Bless the classrooms with unity, kindness, and respect. May this school year be filled with growth, discovery, and Your abundant grace. And through it all, let Your love be the foundation of every lesson taught and every lesson learned.

We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen.

Our objective in this series is that Kids will learn God is our guide through the jungles of life.
