Le Beau is a New York based creative agency. We're a collective of artists and creatives, producing original content and brand solutions for our clients.
With the agency’s 40th anniversary fast approaching engaged Le Beau to re-imagine their brand identity and digital presence for future generations. Various opportunities to infuse specific elements from the original design system were explored and the most notable to be maintained is the arched rule which is featured in the architectural design of their Los Angeles headquarters and as a more subtle component of their original logo.

Engaged to ensure that their brand identity and digital presence would be reflective of their standing in the landscape for future generations, we explored various opportunities to carry over specific elements from the original design system as a way to recognize the storied history of the brand while visually positioning them for the next forty years.

The cannabis category comes with a lot of rules yet one very important aspect of the package design that is often sacrificed for aesthetics is helping a user understand exactly what is in a package. Whether seeing jars on a shelf or in a drawer we wanted to ensure that Sweetspot consumers always knew what it was they were reaching for and delivering this solution in a visually pleasing way made for a fun challenge.

Microdosing helps cannabis users find the right dosage for their needs and we wanted to capture that when developing this new package design system for Sweetspot, a brilliant and delicious new brand and product line created by . Offered in five formulas and seven flavors, these edibles hit differently with a fast onset due to the use of sound waves to break up the cannabis distillate into smaller, water-soluble particles, allowing the cannabinoids to be quickly broken down by our bodies. Now that’s some science!
