Our Outreach Specialist, Jocelyn Fournier, attended a SouthCoast Chamber of Commerce networking “Business After Hours” event, sponsored by St. Anne’s Credit Union, held at The Cove Restaurant in Fall River.
We value opportunities to connect with local professionals, strengthen community partnerships, and stay engaged in the spaces where our clients live, work, and grow. Events like these help us continue building a practice rooted in accessibility, collaboration, and care.
Grateful to be part of a vibrant local business community 💜🩵

Please join us in congratulating Alex Pelletier on officially becoming a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)! 👏🏻✨
Alex has worked hard to reach this milestone, demonstrating dedication, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping others along the way. Throughout her career, she has supported children, adolescents, and adults through life’s challenges with empathy, skill, and authenticity. Her experience spans community mental health, crisis intervention, schools, and outpatient therapy, and she brings a thoughtful, strengths-based approach to every client she serves.
We are incredibly proud of all that Alex has accomplished and grateful to have her as part of the Compassionate Counseling Company team. This achievement reflects not only her clinical expertise, but also her unwavering commitment to growth, learning, and providing exceptional care to her clients.
Congratulations, Alex! We can’t wait to see all that you’ll continue to accomplish in this next chapter 💜🩵

This year Compassionate Counseling Company will be back at Borderland State Park for another Out of the Darkness Community Walk because we’ve seen what silence can do, and we’ve also seen what support can change.
We walk for the conversations that didn’t happen soon enough.
We walk for the ones who are still here.
We walk for hope that stays present even in hard seasons.

Together, we can raise awareness, reduce stigma, and make a real impact.

🌈 Even on the dreariest days, reminders of hope can appear when we least expect them.
A rainbow doesn’t erase the storm-it appears because of it. In much the same way, healing isn’t about avoiding difficult emotions; it’s about finding moments of light, resilience, and meaning alongside them.
If today feels heavy, know that brighter moments can still emerge. Be gentle with yourself, take things one step at a time, and remember that hope often arrives in small, unexpected ways.
✨ Wishing you moments of peace, hope, and happiness, even under cloudy skies.
At Compassionate Counseling Company, we believe that quality care starts with quality support.
Clinical supervision is more than reviewing cases-it’s about creating a space where clinicians can grow, reflect, build confidence, and navigate the challenges of this work with guidance and encouragement.
When therapists feel supported, they are better equipped to show up fully for their clients. Strong supervision promotes professional growth, clinical effectiveness, and long-term sustainability in a field where burnout is all too common.
Investing in clinicians isn’t just good for therapists-it’s good for the clients and communities they serve.
Because the best care happens when clinicians have the support they need to thrive 💜🩵
The biggest game your child plays isn’t on the court. It’s in their mind.
Every parent sees the shots, the points, and the wins.
What we don’t always see are the thoughts running through a child’s mind before they take the shot:
“What if I miss?”
“What if I let my team down?”
“What if I’m not good enough?”
Sports can teach incredible life skills but they can also bring pressure, self-doubt, perfectionism, and anxiety.
Helping children build confidence isn’t about convincing them they’ll never fail. It’s about helping them trust themselves even when they do.
When kids learn emotional resilience, they don’t just become stronger athletes. They become stronger humans.
At Compassionate Counseling Company, we help children and teens develop the confidence, coping skills, and emotional tools they need both on and off the court.
What life lesson has sports taught your child?

🌿 International Yoga Day 🌿
Today we recognize International Yoga Day-a reminder that healing isn’t only something we talk about in therapy, it’s something we can also feel in the body.
Yoga offers space to slow down, notice what’s happening internally, and reconnect with breath when life feels overwhelming. From a counseling perspective, it can gently support emotional regulation, grounding, and nervous system awareness-skills that carry into everyday life.
Whether it’s a full practice or just a few intentional breaths, your body deserves moments of care and presence.
🧘♀️ Healing is not only mental-it’s embodied.

☀️ Hello, First Day of Summer 🌊
Summer often brings a cultural message of “do more, go more, be more”-but mental health doesn’t always follow the same rhythm.
This season can also be an invitation to:
🍉 Slow down where you can
🍉 Notice what actually restores you
🍉 Make space for rest without earning it
🍉 Reconnect with simple, grounding moments
Not every summer needs to be packed or productive to be meaningful. Sometimes healing looks like sitting in the sun for a few quiet minutes, saying no to overcommitment, or choosing ease over urgency.
At Compassionate Counseling Company, we often remind clients that regulation and joy are built in small, intentional moments-not just big life changes.
So whether this summer feels exciting, overwhelming, restful, or uncertain-there’s room for all of it.
☀️ What’s one small thing you want more of this summer?
