🏡 THINK YOU NEED 20% DOWN TO BUY A HOME? THINK AGAIN!
One of the biggest misconceptions I hear from first-time homebuyers is that they need to save 20% before they can purchase a home.
The truth? Many buyers qualify with much less!
âś… FHA loans may allow as little as 3.5% down
âś… Some conventional loans offer options with just 3% down
âś… Eligible veterans may qualify for 0% down VA loans
While a larger down payment can have advantages, waiting years to save 20% may not be necessary.

The water heater.
That’s one reason I always encourage my clients to attend the inspection. It’s one of the best opportunities to learn how your future home works, where important systems are located, and ask questions before you become the owner.
This series is for anyone who was never taught the basics of homeownership. 🏡
Remember, if this is your first time buying, you don’t know what you don’t know! There are no stupid questions except the ones not asked!
